Resources During this Public Health Crisis

In 2020, Kevin presented "Post-Pandemic Planning: Understanding the New Normal" at the 37th Annual NADD Conference and Exhibit. We have done significant research into how organization, specifically Human Service organizations can weather such unpredictable storms and chart a successful course through them. Early in the pandemic, Lara presented a series one-hour free webinars on Emotional Self-Care for the Helping Professions. In 2020, she presented at the 37th Annual NADD Conference and Exhibit on a similar topic. We have posted a recording of one of these webinars for anyone who missed it or would like to see it again.
Emotional Self-Care for the Helping Professions
Description: Emotional self-care begins with self-awareness and self-regulation. Learning to do this helps to lower stress, enhance emotional intelligence, and to make us more effective in our professional and personal lives. We will explore these ideas and introduce mindfulness-based practices as the base for supporting ourselves in challenging times.
"This was by far my favorite, most informative, during this pandemic. Thank you for reminding me to take care of myself, while taking care of others. Just what I needed right now…and I'm sure many others needed it also." (Recent participant)
